    1. La fin d'une aventure fantastique avec des personnages que l'ont apprend à connaitre au fil des 5 livres. Un must si l'on aime le genre. Eddings nous fait voyager dans son monde. Hâte de lire la Mallorée qui reprend les mêmes personnages.

    2. I read this series several times when I was younger and I was glad when they finally released a Kindle version. My only complaint is all the typos in the kindle version. For instance they consistently use the word Mallorca instead of Mallorea. It kind of pisses me off that no one has bothered to proof read this for typos before releasing.

    3. This is the last book in one of my all time favorite series. I first read it 30 years ago and have re-read it at least once a year since then. I see I have that in common with a lot of the other reviewers. To me, that is the hallmark of a great vs a good bookat you can read it again and again with the same pleasure you experienced the first time. This series is one of the great ones. If you haven't had the delight of reading it I highly recommend you do so. I envy you being able to experience it [...]

    4. The conclusion of one of my favorite fantasy world journeys. I recently have been listening to the Mallorean on Audible, because of course, I can't get the books on Kindle. Listening to the books have changed the way I viewed certain sections. Eddings work becomes much more predictable and character personalities a bit caricature like. Still, I will buy the whole set of the Mallorean on Kindle when it comes out.

    5. I really enjoyed this entire series and have bought multiple copies to give to friends and family. I highly recommend it for those who enjoy fantasy. I also really enjoy that the books Polgara the Sorceress and Belgarath the Sorcerer retell the tale from other perspectives.Everyone has their own preferences. Maybe read one of the overview novels to see if you are interested. I have always felt they were great books, but then again there aren't too many books I have met and disliked (except roman [...]

    6. I first read "The Belgariad" series in the 1980's (if memory serves). Since then I have re-read this series every 5 years or so - it is just that well written, in my opinion and the story line is pretty engaging, I think. Every now & then I want to read a really good Fantasy book - this is my go-to series for that reason.
